Volkswagen e-Golf: One of the greenest cars in 2015

If you want to protect the environment, you must drive a green car. Luckily, there are many of them. All of them look interesting and they are efficient. One of those cars is the Volkswagen Golf. It has been among us for many years (several decades) but now, we have an opportunity to drive an electric Golf. It is called e-Golf, so the name isn’t the best.

The lithium ion battery is enough for a radius of 118 miles. This isn’t the best radius you can find, but for most people it is enough. However, charging can last just 35 minutes (on DC outlet). This means that there is no need to recharge the battery more than 20 hours, so this car is functional. You also get the 3 year warranty or 36000 miles. If you don’t drive often, it is better to choose 3 years.

The price of this car is around $31.000. For that money you get an electric car that looks like an ordinary golf. This is useful if you want to blend in. Although, the radius is 118 miles, you have two modes. They are: Eco and ECO+. Basically, in these regimes, the engine uses less energy and the top speed is limited. For example, in ECO+ mode, the top speed is limited at 56 mph.

The comfort is much better than on many other cars. You have bucket front seats, Bluetooth, cruise control, rear view camera and many more. Currently, e-Gold is the second best electric car on the market. The first is BMW i3, but it is more expensive.
